What Checkout Readiness Means for a Demo Store

A credible commerce demo needs more than product pages. It needs enough operational configuration for a shopper to move through cart and checkout without obvious dead ends. This environment includes shipping profiles, country-based shipping zones, delivery methods, tax categories, tax rules, and a manual test payment provider.

The current MCP surface does not permit cart or order mutation, and this API key cannot read carts or orders. That is useful to know during evaluation: content and commerce setup are exposed, while sensitive checkout workflows remain controlled by storefront endpoints and payment confirmation flows.
